Westview strives to give back to Westmount and the world.
Local Initiatives
Locally, Westview has worked to support many needs within our community. If you want to volunteer or if you would benefit from receiving support from one of these ministries, we invite you to join us. For more details on some of the ministries listed, click on the underlined sections and titles.
Westview Food Cupboard - We provide support to families in need on the 3rd Wednesday of every month between 10 am and 11:30 am at Westview Baptist Church. Currently our clientele is restricted to those who live in N6J and N6K.

Clothing Drives - In cooperation with our Food Cupboard there are some months where clothing or special items are provided during our Food Cupboard hours as well as at other special times in the year. Please check our church calendar for current details on upcoming drives.

Annual Community Events - We invite our community for a fun BBQ with games, food and activities. This year it is planned for June 14. We also hold Spring and Fall Markets and 2nd Hand Treasure events where local artists and vendors are welcome to sell their products.

International Mission & Ministry
We, along with nearly 1000 other Baptist churches across Canada are part of Canadian Baptist Ministries. CBM is our relief and development organization currently working in 27 countries around the world. We only work in countries when we are invited and only in partnership with local churches . Our 5-fold focus is to:

1. Build the Church - equipping and empowering Christian congregations
2. Respond to Crises - providing hope in hardship from natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, fires), conflict, violence and war.
3. Work for Justice - restoring relationships and promoting equity
4. Help Kids at Risk - helping children reach their full potential
5. Address Poverty - creating lasting change through whole-life transformation
